We’re excited to share that we were selected as the builder of the 2025 Featured Home in the Black Hills Home Builders Parade of Homes. This recognition is a meaningful milestone for our team and a chance to highlight the craftsmanship, innovation, and client-focused approach that guide everything we do.
Set in the hills of Rapid City, this year’s featured home was designed to balance luxury with livability. It brings together thoughtful design, high-end finishes, and practical features that support everyday life, all while embracing the natural beauty of the Black Hills.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Being chosen as the Featured Home is an honor we’re proud of. It’s a reflection of the standards we hold ourselves to and the relationships we build with our clients. Since 2009, we’ve been dedicated to designing homes that are as unique and personal as the people who live in them. Erin Wood leads our team with a hands-on approach and a deep respect for the craft — values that have guided our work from the very beginning, shaping every home we create with care, detail, and enduring quality.
A Closer Look at the Home
This 4,700-sq. ft. residence was designed to make an impression from the moment you arrive. A 10-foot glass pivot door opens into a space filled with natural light and framed views of the surrounding hills. Twelve-foot ceilings add to the sense of scale, while custom features throughout the home reflect our attention to detail.
We placed the home 75 feet back from the street to enhance privacy and showcase the landscape. Building varied terrain came with its challenges, but it also gave us the opportunity to innovate. Every design decision was guided by the homeowner’s needs, creating a space that’s both connected to its surroundings and elevated in style.
Inside, the kitchen showcases granite countertops and opens seamlessly into a living area centered around a custom stone fireplace. Thoughtful details like LED-lit stairs, built-in shelving, and in-house tile work add refined touches throughout. A walk-in closet with a dedicated shoe wall, an auxiliary garage beneath the patio, and an oversized three-car garage combine style with practicality.
Outdoor living was equally considered, with Deckorators decking and a paver patio creating the perfect space for entertaining or unwinding.
